IBAIS University is a privately supported non-profit making higher educational institution. IBAIS (Institute of Business Administration and Information System) was established in 1997 and got the University status in August 2002 to function under the Private University Act of 1992 and its amendment of 1998 and became renamed as IBAIS (International Business Administration and Information System) University. Its founder President Dr. Zakaria Lincoln is responsible for overseeing the activities of the University. He has already earned recognition as a successful organizer of many educational institutions including Stamford College Group (Stamford University) and Bangladesh Institute of Business Administration and Information System.

We follow the curriculum and pedagogy of North American education and committed to ensure the international standard, which is reflected in our academic policy.

Graduates from this University have already made a mark in the job market at home and abroad. As recognition of this, IBAIS University achieved the Academic Excellence Award in the 7^th International Business Summit and Research Conference, conferred by the Center of International Business, Amity Business School, India.

Because of above merits, IBAIS University has achieved the membership of The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), Kansas, USA, which is the premier accrediting association for business schools and programs.

We are also the member of European Universities Continuing Education Network (EUCEN), which is the largest university network in Europe. Along with this IBAIS University is the enlisted member of NOOSR (National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition) of Australian Government.

As emerging day-by-day, IBAIS University enjoys an image of the best private educational institution in Bangladesh. Because of this representation, IBAIS University has been awarded the Best Private Educational Institution Award-2004 as elected by the television viewers and conferred by the Television Darshak Forum.

With this depiction of excellence, IBAIS University has proved its distinction in the arena of extra-curricular activities and achieved the Championship trophy in the Inter Private University Cricket Tournament and   Runners-Up trophy in the Inter Private University Football Tournament.
