IBAIS (International Business Administration and Information System) is a Private and non-profit  educational institution was established  in 1997 and got the University status in August 2002 to function under the Private University Act of 1992 as amended in 1998 & 2011 of the Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. 

IBAIS University follow the curriculum and pedagogy of North American education and committed to international standard, which is reflected in our academic policy and curricula.

Graduates from this University have already made a mark in the job market at home and abroad. As recognition of this, IBAIS University achieved the Academic Excellence Award in the 7th International Business Summit and Research Conference, conferred by the Center of International Business, Amity University, India.

IBAIS University also achieved the membership of The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), Kansas, USA, which is the premier accrediting association for business schools and programs.

IBAIS University are also the member of European Universities Continuing Education Network (EUCEN), which is the largest university network in Europe.  IBAIS University is an enlisted member of NOOSR (National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition) of Australian Government.

The Oxford Association of Management recognises the graduate and postgraduate degrees awarded by IBAIS University for certified memberships.

IBAIS University has been emerging as one of the best private educational institutions in Bangladesh. We proudly recall that IBAIS University has been awarded the Best Private Educational Institution Award-2004 as elected by the television viewers and conferred by the Television Darshak Forum.

With this depiction of excellence, IBAIS University has proved its distinction also  in the arena of extra-curricular activities and achieved the Championship trophy in the 4th Inter-Private University Cricket Tournament in 2005 and Runners-Up trophy in the 2nd Inter-Private University Football Tournament in the same year.
